Get 2020 Tax Forms
As of Tax Year 2018 income taxes, there will no longer be Form 1040A or Form 1040EZ, but instead a redesigned Form 1040 and 6 Schedules. Many people will only need to file Form 1040 and no schedules.
A limited number of printed federal tax products are available at some local IRS Tax Assistance Centers. The IRS suggests obtaining print forms, instructions, and publications in 4 ways:
- IRS Online Tax Forms
- Order IRS Forms Online to receive in the Mail (order as early as possible)
- Call 1 (800) 829-3676 to order tax products to be delivered by mail (order as early as possible)
- Your local library has a limited amount of forms. Please call your library branch and ask about availability before driving over.

Second Economic Impact (Stimulus) Payment
2020 was the tax year that involved Economic Impact (Stimulus) payments. There is some confusion about these payments and some who were eligible might not have gotten them or if they did, it may have been the wrong amount.
You may be eligible to get a second Economic Impact Payment. In most cases, it will automatically be sent to you.
Use Get My Payment to:
- Check Your Payment Status
- Confirm that your second stimulus payment was sent.
- Confirm your payment type: direct deposit or mail.
- Data is updated once per day overnight, no need to check more than once per day.

Did you miss the deadline to register online for the Economic Impact Payment?
You may still be eligible to receive a payment in 2021 if:
- You did not register online, by mail and did not get a payment in 2020 or,
- You received a payment, but it wasn’t the full amount of the Economic Impact Payment. The maximum credit is $1,200, or $2,400 if married filing jointly, plus $500 for each qualifying child.
When you file a 2020 Form 1040 or 1040SR you may be eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit. Save your IRS letter - Notice 1444 Your Economic Impact Payment - with your 2020 tax records. You’ll need the amount of the payment in the letter when you file in 2021.
