Are the Libraries open?
All 10 CPC Regional Libraries are closed to the public, we will re-evaluate as needed in an effort to prevent exposure and limit the spread of COVID-19.

When will events at the Library resume?
All in-person Library programming events and outreach are currently canceled until it is safe to resume them. We will reassess the situation when the libraries re-open, so please stay tuned for more details on this website or following us on Facebook.

May I call my library?
Yes, library staff will be available via phone Monday – Friday during regular library hours to assist patrons with renewing materials, finding information and assisting with digital downloading. If staff is not available at your local library, please call one of our other locations, http://cpcrl.org/index.php/library-directory. You may also use the “Ask Us A Question” form on our websites.

How do I use the Library’s WiFi while you are closed?
Access to our wireless network will also be available from outside library buildings where connections permit.

May I still check out physical materials?
No, you may not check out physical materials until the Library has reopened. However, our digital resources are available 24/7.

How do I renew my checked-out library materials?
There are a couple of ways to renew your materials. 1) Over the phone by calling your library during regular operating hours, Monday-Friday, 2) Log into your library account at https://cpcrl.tlcdelivers.com (you’ll need your library card number and the last four digits of your phone number)

Will I be charged overdue fines?
No overdue charges will be charged while the libraries are closed. In fact, we prefer that you keep your library materials at home instead of returning them to the library book and media drops. We will advertise our re-opening on this website and social media.

May I place a hold on library materials?
The ability to place materials on hold has been suspended until the Libraries re-open. Any items currently being held for patrons will still be available to check out when the Libraries re-open. However, you can use the “Saved Lists” and “Saved Searched” in our catalog to create lists of items you would like to request when the libraries re-open. What happens to my holds while the Libraries are closed?
There's no need to worry. Nothing is circulating, no one will lose their spot, and we'll give plenty of notice when we reopen.

What resources can I access online until the libraries reopen?
We have a wealth of digital resources available for free 24/7 with a Library card. Visit our Resources page, http://cpcrl.org/index.php/library-catalog/resources, to learn more.

May I complete the Census at the Library?
Not at this time as the libraries are closed. We encourage you to complete the U.S. Census digitally by visiting https://my2020census.gov/.

What are library staff doing while the libraries are closed?
A whole lot! We have cleaned and disinfected surfaces. Incoming materials from book and media drops are quarantined and disinfected before being processed. Each library is performing an inventory of all their materials, which is a huge job! We are providing over-the-phone support for our digital services, renewing materials, and answering all sorts of questions. We are also working on program planning, special projects and staff training.

Why are items I returned lately still on my account?
Returned items may remain on your library account up to 10 days, as we are quarantining materials for staff safety.
